Registration

All programme begin promptly at 9am on the day. Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the start of the course to complete the registration process and allow time to settle in.

Attire

We recommend tidy casual attire for our courses. However, feel free to dress comfortably to suit your personal preference. Layers are recommended as the temperature in the training room may vary.

Meals and Refreshments

During the course, we will provide morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea. Please inform us in advance if you have any specific dietary requirements or allergies, so we can accommodate your needs accordingly.

Course Materials

For all our courses, handouts, workbooks and a pen will be given to you at the venue on the day. Feel free to bring a notepad for taking additional notes, if desired.
For some programmes, where there is pre-course preparation or assessment required, we will contact you to provide the necessary materials.

Connectivity

We understand the importance of staying connected. Wi-Fi access will be available throughout the venue. Our staff will provide you with the necessary login details upon arrival.

Course Etiquette

To ensure a conducive learning environment, we kindly request all participants to adhere to the following guidelines:

• Arrive on time for each session.
• Minimise distractions by silencing mobile phones and other devices during the course.
• Respect the opinions and contributions of fellow participants.
• Engage in active listening and participate in group discussions.

Driving: From SH1 South take SH 76 motorway towards Christchurch City taking the SH73 exit and left onto Curletts Road. At the second set of lights turn right onto Blenheim Road. We are located 1.5km down Blenheim Road on the right.

From SH1 North, take the SH73 exit onto Yalhurst Road. Turn right to continue on SH73 onto Curletts Road, then left onto Blenheim Road. We are located approx 1.5km down Blenheim Road on the right.

Taxi or Uber: 15-25 minutes from the airport depending on traffic.

Parking

Complimentary parking is available for course participants, however parking is limited. Please only use parks marked as NZIM. Additional parking is available in the surrounding streets, we recommend Wharenui Road.

Walking: From Parnell Road, turn down St Stephens Ave then after 300 metres, turn left down Gladstone Road. The venue is 100m on the left.

Driving: From SH1 North take the Northwestern motorway (16) exit towards Auckland Ports. Continue from SH16 along The Strand, then turn right onto Gladstone Road. The venue is on the right.

From SH1 South take the Grafton Road exit veering right to join the Northwestern motorway (16) toward Auckland Ports. Continue from SH16 along The Strand, then turn right onto Gladstone Road. The venue is on the right.

From SH16 continue toward Auckland Ports. Continue from SH16 along The Strand, then turn right onto Gladstone Road. The venue is on the right.

Walking: The Ascot is a 4km flat walk from the centre of Invercargill. Head East along Tay St

Driving: From SH1 North at the first roundabout turn right onto Racecourse Road (signposted to Ascot racecourse). The hotel entrance is 250m on the right.

From SH6 North continue into Invercargill city centre on Dee St. Turn left onto SH1 at Tay St signposted to Gore/Dunedin. Continue for 4 km then turn left onto Racecourse Road. The hotel entrance is 250m on the right.

Taxi or Uber: Allow 15 minutes from Invercargill airport.

Walking: From Dunedin City Centre Octagon, walk south down Princes St for 400m. Turn right up High Street and the destination is on the right.

Driving: From the North - continue on SH1 towards the south on the one-way system. At Toitu Otago Settlers Museum and Queens Gardens, turn right onto Queens Gardens, continuing onto Rattray Street for two blocks. Turn left onto Broadway and then left again onto High Street. The destination is on the left.

From the South - continue on SH1 toward the north/Dunedin centre via the one-way system until Jetty St. Turn left onto Jetty St, then veer right at the lights onto Manse St then a sharp right onto High St. The destination is on the left.

Taxi or Uber: 30-35 minutes from the airport depending on traffic.

Parking

On-site car parking is available at a minimal fee of $20.00 per day. Fee is subject to change - please check with the hotel directly. Alternative public parking is available in surrounding areas.

WALKING: From Lambton Quay come up through the James Cook Arcade. Walk through the hotel lobby. We are diagonally opposite, across the street.

DRIVING: From SH1 heading into Wellington, take The Terrace off ramp. We are on your right-hand side at the traffic lights on The Terrace.

TAXI or UBER: 25 minutes from the airport with a taxi rank across the road.

Parking

There are three parking options close by, both are available for all-day parking at standard rates:

• CLIFTON TERRACE CARPARK Entrance is 50m down The Terrace. Choose a park in the Southern end and you'll be right behind the venue.
• WILSON CARPARK Entrance through the James Cook Grand Chancellor Hotel, straight across the road from the venue.
• ASTERON CARPARK Located next door to the Novotel Hotel, 20m down The Terrace.
